Her journey in medicine began at the Medical School of Peking University, where she completed nursing and psychology training as part of the Class of 2008. This world-class education laid the foundation for her clinical excellence and global perspective on healthcare.
After relocating to Australia, Dr Ge completed her medical degree at the Australian National University in 2018 and achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2024. Her earlier career in ICU nursing and her academic background in psychology further enrich her compassionate and comprehensive approach to patient care.
She has received advanced training through Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT (SHFPACT) and offers the latest contraceptive options tailored to individual needs.
Beyond the clinic, Dr Ge is a passionate educator and advocate. She serves as a casual Local Medical Educator for the RACGP, a Board Director of AMA ACT, and contributes nationally through the AMA Council of General Practice. Her leadership includes serving as the Immediate Past Chair of the AMA ACT Council of Doctors in Training and representing GPs on key initiatives such as the ACT Health Perinatal Mental Health Project and the Primary Care Emergency Response Committee (PCERC).
Dr Ge is also deeply involved in advancing women’s health and equity as the National Coordinator and ACT Councillor for the Australian Federation of Medical Women (AFMW), and she is an active member of MWS-ACT and AUSPATH/AADPA.
